A group of armed men attacked a police check post in Chaman, Pakistan’s bordering city with Afghanistan. The incident left one police constable martyred, Hameed Zehri, Deputy Commissioner Chaman said. “The attackers would be arrested”, the DC assured.
Two motorcycle riders opened fire on a police station at Boghra Road Chaman, near the Pak-Afghan Border. Soon, after the incident, the police cordoned off the area as a search operation went underway.
The terrorists succeeded in escaping the spot of the incident. Senior police officials and other high-ups reached the spot of the incident. They asked the police and other law enforcement agencies to arrest the killers and bring them to book.
This is not the first time that policemen were targeted in Chaman. Terrorists have repeatedly attacked policemen and levies personnel in Chaman in the past. Senior police officer Muhammad Ali Kasi also reached the spot and directed the police to apprehend the culprits behind the terrorist attack.
