Mian Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has shown serious concerns over the rise of water-borne diseases in Balochistan. The Premier visited the Jacobabad area of Sindh and then landed in the SohbatPur district of Balochistan on Monday.
The PM was welcomed by Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, CM Balochistan and Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the BNP-M chief, and other high-ups of the provincial govt.
Prime Minister visited a Flood Relief camp in SohbatPur
The Prime Minister visited a flood relief camp established by the Government of Balochistan in SohbatPur. The PM checked data of total flood affectees in the camp and showed serious concerns over the fast spread of Malaria, Diarrhoea, and other water-borne disorders in the province.
“We will have to drain the water on an emergency basis as its the root cause of diseases spread in the district”, the Prime Minister told Media. Flood water level has dropped in many areas of both provinces but in SohbatPur its still high, the govt should use its machinery for quick drainage of water from the district, he added.
PM offered Condelence of Sardarzada Mehr Ullah Mengal in Khuzdar:
The Pakistan Prime Minister also visited Khuzdar district for offering Fatiha of Sardarzada Mehr Ullah Mengal, the brother of Sardar Atta Ullah Mengal, and Uncle of Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the BNP-M chief. He visited the hometown, Wadh of Sardar Akhtar Mengal for offering Fatiha.
