Balochistan Assembly formed a parliamentary committee on Saturday to solve the problems of non-availability of gas and electricity in the province. During the session of Balochistan Assembly on Saturday, Khalil George the Parliamentary Secretary proposed to form a special council of the house under rule 180 of the Balochistan Assembly rules and regulations 1974.
The Parliamentary Secretary told that a special committee headed by Acting Speaker Sardar Babar Musa Khail should be formed to take up these issues with the federal government and solve the problems of non-supply of gas and electricity in the province.

Protests are observed on daily basis in Quetta city and other parts of Balochistan against the incumbent government and Sui Southern Gas Committee (SSGC). The house approved the motion to setup a special committee.
Sardar Babar Musa Khail is the chairman of the committee, while the members include the Parliamentary Leader of JUI Malik Sikander Khan Advocate, BNP’s Parliamentary Leader Malik Naseer Shahwani, PTI’s Parliamentary Leader Mir Naseebullah Marri, PKMAP’s Parliamentary Leader Nasrullah Zeri, ANP’s Parliamentary Leader Asghar Khan Achakzai, BNP(awami) Parliamentary Leader Mir Asadullah Baloch, Parliamentary Leader of Jamhoori Watan Party Nawabzada Gohram Bugti, Hazara Democratic Party’s Parliamentary Leader Abdul Khaliq Hazara, representatives of BAP Sikandar Umrani and Bushra Rind.
