Merit violated in SBK appointments: Joint Action Committee

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) has accused the Vice-Chancellor Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women’s University of appointing blue-eyed in the recruitment process.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Saturday, the President of the JAC Sadaf Khan claimed that the VC has subjected the employees raising voices against irregularities in the university to victimization. “Instead of meeting the employees, the VC lodged FIRs against them”, Sadaf Khan said.

Vice President JAC, Raheela, Assistant Professor Nelofar, and Press Secretary Tariq Mehmood were also present on the occasion.

University administration rejects the allegations

The university administration started retaliatory actions against the employees, and due to these actions, the university continued to suffer day by day, Sadaf Khan stated.

The University administration was quick to reject the claims of the protesting employees and termed its propaganda against the VC and the university as baseless. “Baseless claims and accusations”, the spokesman of the SBK university said in a statement after the press conference.

Despite the financial crisis, 125 contract employees appointed in the SBK

As proof of her stubbornness, despite the current economic situation of the country, 125 people have been appointed on contract to the university, they claimed.

They said that the VC Sajida Noreen violated merit in terms of appointments inside the university. They demanded of the Governor Balochistan and the provincial government to take action against the VC.
