CHAMAN: Two levies men were martyred in two different firing incidents in Chaman on Monday afternoon. Police sources said armed accused opened fire and martyred a levies man. The attackers sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.
Levies and police personnel reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the levies man to the district headquarters hospital Chaman. The victim was identified as Rehmatullah, a resident of Chaman.
In another incident, an unknown accused opened fire and martyred another levies constable in the Killi Muhammad Siddique area of Chaman. The martyred levies man was identified as Samiullah. Police and levies reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
Levies sources said the incidents seem to be acts of targeted killing in the city.
