QUETTA: A policeman was martyred in a terrorist attack in the Zarghoonabad Police Station jurisdiction on Monday morning.
Police sources said unknown terrorists opened fire at the vehicle of police on Hanna Bypass area of the city. One policeman identified as Ghulam Murtaza was martyred on the spot.
The attackers escaped unhurt from the spot. The dead body was shifted to the civil hospital Quetta. Senior administration officials reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
