In the aftermath of recent snow and rainfall, the cold has firmly taken hold of Quetta, Ziarat, Kalat, and various other regions in the province. Ziarat, Kan Mehtarzai, Toba Kakari, Kalat, and other mountainous areas of Balochistan have witnessed a significant amount of snowfall.

Quetta City, on the other hand, experienced heavy rainfall, exacerbating the challenges faced by the local population. The frigid weather has led to issues such as gas and power supply disruptions.

Tourists from Quetta and across the country flocked to Ziarat to witness the season’s first snowfall, with visitors from Karachi and other regions also making their way to the picturesque valley.

Despite the enchanting scenery, residents in Ziarat expressed discontent with prolonged gas and power supply outages. Yar Muhammad Kakar, a resident of the Kawas area in Ziarat, lamented, “We have been without gas and power supply for the last two days.” He highlighted the plight of women and children, who are particularly vulnerable in the harsh weather, leading to many
