Three of the ten individuals abducted from the popular tourist spot Shaaban in Quetta have been recovered, Levies sources confirmed today. The rescue operation brings a glimmer of hope to the families of those still held captive.

The abduction occurred a few days ago in Shaban, Zarghoon Ghar, area of Harnai district, when a group of armed men disrupted a picnic celebration. The attackers, heavily armed, surrounded the area and meticulously checked the identity cards of everyone present. Out of the gathered crowd, they initially detained fourteen individuals but later released four, forcibly taking ten with them.

The group of hostages included a customs official and several residents of Punjab, leading to heightened concern and urgency in the rescue efforts. The kidnappers’ motives remain unclear, and the identities of the perpetrators are yet to be confirmed.

According to the latest reports, three of the ten abducted individuals have been safely released and transferred back to Quetta. Local and provincial authorities have assured that every effort is being made to secure the safe return of the remaining seven captives.
