CHAGHI: Former Senate Chairman Sadiq Khan Sanjrani has inaugurated a new 33 KV grid station in Aminabad and an 11 KV line in Charsar, with projects costing a total of Rs 33 crores. Speaking at the ceremony, Sanjrani emphasized his commitment to the rapid development of Chaghi district. “It is my mission to move Chagai towards development in a short period,” he stated.
Sanjrani highlighted the connection of Charsar to the National Grid, fulfilling a promise made to the local community. He revealed plans for further development, including a project to connect the rural area of Padag to the National Grid at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Additionally, Sanjrani announced the provision of free electricity meters to all households in Charsar, aiming to brighten every home.
To address local issues effectively, Sanjrani proposed upgrading Chagai to tehsil status and Charsar to sub-tehsil status. He also mentioned plans to appoint ten new teachers to improve educational infrastructure in the area.
In his remarks, local leader Sardar Najeeb Sanjrani expressed optimism about the future, noting that Chagai, a district spanning 46,000 square kilometers from Taftan to Kachki, has historically been neglected. He announced the establishment of three ambulance emergency centers to provide immediate medical care in case of accidents.
The inauguration marks a significant step towards the development and modernization of Chaghi district, promising a brighter future for its residents.
