Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Mastung District,the military’s media wing said. During the operation, after an intense exchange of fire, three terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were killed, and three others were injured, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
These terrorists were involved in numerous attacks in the area, including the assassination of Panjgur’s Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Zakir Ali, on August 12, 2024. Today’s operation has avenged this heinous act and brought the perpetrators to justice.
Pakistan’s security forces, aligned with the nation’s resolve, remain committed to thwarting attempts to sabotage the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti hailed the security forces for neutralizing the terrorists behind the martyrdom of DC Panjgur, Zakir Baloch. In a statement after the security forces’ successful operation, Mr. Bugti said security forces have been able to eliminate the terrorists behind the martyrdom of DC Panjgur.
“I appreciate our security forces for this bravery”, Mr. Bugti said.
