DALBANDIN: A two-day workshop on child protection, organized by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), took place at the Circuit House, drawing participation from women, Levies personnel, police, teachers, and lawyers. Abdul Rahim Kasi, Child Protection Manager for Balochistan, emphasized the urgent need to safeguard children from labor and abuse. District Focal Person Qadir Sanjrani and other officials highlighted the risks children face in garages, hotels, and homes, where they are often subjected to physical, mental, and sexual abuse.

The workshop underscored the importance of raising awareness to prevent violence against children, providing a safe environment where they can report abuses to parents, teachers, or authorities without fear. Participants discussed various issues through presentations and charts, focusing on improving societal understanding and offering solutions to protect vulnerable children. The workshop called for a collective effort to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the region.
