PANJGUR: In a tragic and targeted attack, seven labourers were gunned down in the Panjgur district of Balochistan on Saturday.

According to police sources, armed assailants stormed into a house and opened fire, killing seven labourers and injuring one. The injured labourer was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident happened in the Khudaban area of Panjgur.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examinations. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with initial reports suggesting that the attack was premeditated and targeted.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, condemned the attack, expressing his deep sorrow and outrage. “This brutal act of violence is unacceptable and has no place in our society,” he stated. “We will ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and that the families of the victims receive the support they need during this difficult time.”
