Peshawar, September 28, 2024 – In the final phase of intra-party elections held on Sunday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman was elected unopposed as the central Amir of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI). The elections took place in Peshawar, where party members gathered to cast their votes.

Alongside Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Maulana Ghafoor Hydri was also elected unopposed as the central secretary of the party. The smooth and uncontested election process reflects the strong support and unity within the party ranks.

The newly elected leaders have expressed their commitment to furthering the party’s mission and addressing the challenges faced by the community. “We are dedicated to upholding the principles of justice and equality, and we will continue to work tirelessly for the betterment of our people,” said Maulana Fazlur Rehman in his acceptance speech.
