Islamabad: In a major development for medical aspirants, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has temporarily suspended the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) results announced by the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU). The decision comes after a petition was filed alleging irregularities in the examination process.
The IHC has directed the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and SZABMU to establish a complaint cell for students to raise their concerns about the MDCAT results. The suspension of results provides a much-needed relief for students who were dissatisfied with their scores and believe that the examination process was flawed.
Medical aspirants from across the country have expressed their gratitude for the IHC’s decision, which they see as a ray of hope for their future. They have urged their fellow students to come forward and submit complaints to the newly established complaint cell.
The suspension of the MDCAT results and the opening of a complaint cell highlight the importance of ensuring fairness and transparency in the admission process for medical and dental colleges. It also sends a strong message to educational institutions that they must be held accountable for any irregularities or misconduct.
