Dukki: A Ufone tower was blown up in the Luni tehsil of Dukki district, Balochistan, late last night, according to Levies sources.
Unknown miscreants targeted the communication tower, setting its machinery on fire and destroying the solar power system installed at the site. The attackers managed to escape unscathed before law enforcement could arrive.
Levies personnel have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but it has raised concerns about the security of vital infrastructure in the region.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
