Rawalpindi – 19 October 2024: On October 18, security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in District Pishin, apprehending five terrorists (Khwarij) and seizing a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, including three suicide vests, the military’s media wing said.
The arrested terrorists were involved in multiple attacks and were planning further assaults on security forces and civilians, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In another operation on October 17 in District Zhob, two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered in the subsequent area sweep.
Pakistan’s security forces remain unwavering in their commitment to eliminating terrorism and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
