DALBANDIN: A two-day free eye camp has been launched at Prince Fahad Hospital, Dalbandin, to provide free eye checkups, treatments, and advanced cataract surgeries for patients. The initiative is organized by Mary Adled Leprosy Center and the Leprosy Blindness Control Program with the support of former Chairman Senate, MPA Chagai, Sadiq Khan Sanjrani.
DHO Chaghai Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, while speaking to the media, stated that patients will be examined and treated by expert ophthalmologists, and surgeries will be conducted after 2 PM. He added, “Cataract surgeries will be performed without sutures using the latest phaco machine technology.”
Other notable attendees included MS Prince Fahad Hospital Syed Ali Ahmad Shah, Dr. Hamadullah Zehri, Dr. Syed Mahfooz Shah, Khan Panel leader Haji Noor Ali Khan Sanjrani, Haji Abdul Rehman Riki, and Dr. Hamid Gul Yousafzai.
The camp aims to benefit hundreds of patients in the region, providing much-needed medical care to those suffering from vision-related issues. This effort underscores the commitment to improving healthcare access in remote areas of Balochistan.
