Chagai: The District Education Officer (DEO) Chagai, Ashok Kumar Rajput, announced the transparent appointment of 72 contract-based teachers in the district. A total of 386 candidates participated in the process, comprising 243 females and 143 males.

The appointment process was led by the Deputy Commissioner as Chairman of the District Recruitment Committee (DRC), with the DEO serving as Secretary Officer.

Speaking on the occasion, DEO Rajput expressed his satisfaction, stating, “I am happy today that we have appointed 72 deserving teachers who will contribute to eliminating educational backwardness. Union-wise merit was strictly followed in the selection process.”

To ensure transparency, the education department has allotted an additional month for document verification. A complaint cell has also been set up at the District Education Office, allowing citizens to report grievances within 30 days.

The DEO emphasized efforts to reopen closed schools, urging parents to prioritize education, saying, “We are working day and night to improve education in Chagai, ensuring children achieve higher positions through learning.”

This initiative is expected to enhance the quality of education and address long-standing challenges in the district.
