QUETTA: The National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) – HEC Training Program successfully concluded at Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS), Quetta, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the professional capacities of university management officers in BPS-17 and BPS-18.

The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BUMHS graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates to 30 participants who completed the training. Shields and souvenirs were also presented to the organizers and resource persons for their outstanding contributions.

The event was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Farida Kakar, Registrar Syed Aurangzeb, Controller of Examinations Prof. Dr. Din Muhammad Bangulzai, senior professors, deans, directors, and faculty members. Their presence highlighted the importance of professional development in higher education.

In her address, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the practical application of newly acquired skills to enhance workplace efficiency. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Farida Kakar encouraged participants to engage in continuous learning through workshops and training.

Special recognition was given to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Buzdar, Training Coordinator, for his leadership in organizing the program. Thanks were also extended to Assistant Registrar Mr. Arsalan and Deputy Director IT Niaz Muhammad for their contributions.

Participants from Bolan Medical College, Loralai Medical College, and nursing colleges in BMC and Zhob also received training and certificates. Esteemed resource persons included Dr. Imrana Niaz Sultan and Prof. Dr. Ahsan Achakzai from BUITEMS, alongside Prof. Dr. Jameel Ahmed and Prof. Dr. Sobia Ramzan from the University of Balochistan.

Participants expressed a desire for more frequent training sessions, including those tailored for senior faculty and administrative staff.

The ceremony concluded with a collective commitment to excellence in higher education, ensuring progress at BUMHS and beyond.
