Authorities in Quetta have arrested three individuals suspected of detaining and mistreating a 14-year-old boy in the Eastern Bypass area. Efforts are ongoing to locate a fourth suspect believed to be involved.

The boy, identified as Manzoor Ahmed, was reported missing on December 16, two days after he left home on December 14. His father, Muhammad Aslam, a local property dealer, filed a missing person’s report at the Abdul Khaliq Shaheed Police Station.

Manzoor returned home on December 24 and shared information about his ordeal. He stated that four individuals, identified as Muhammad Salim, Attaullah, Samiullah, and Ajab Khan, allegedly took him to a private residence where he was held for several days.

Following the boy’s account, police initiated swift action, arresting three suspects. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the remaining individual.

This distressing incident has raised concerns within the community, highlighting the importance of ensuring safety and security for minors. Authorities have assured the public of a thorough investigation and strict legal action against those found guilty.
