CHAMAN: A powerful earthquake struck near the Kozhak Pass along the Pak-Afghan border early this morning, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

Tremors were strongly felt in Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Toba Achakzai, and the Afghan region of Spin Boldak. The seismic activity caused widespread fear and panic among residents, forcing many to rush out of their homes for safety.

The epicenter was reported near the Kozhak Pass, a region known for its seismic activity due to its proximity to tectonic plate boundaries.

No immediate reports of casualties or damage have surfaced, but local authorities are monitoring the situation closely. Residents are urged to remain cautious and follow safety protocols in case of aftershocks.
