CHAGHI: January 18: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has assured the public that all government jobs in the province will be granted on merit and no position will be sold under any circumstances.

Addressing a public gathering during his visit to Nokundi, he emphasized his commitment to transparency and fair governance.

Speaking about employment, the CM stated that the youth of Balochistan will receive job opportunities at their doorstep, ensuring a merit-based process that leaves no room for corruption.

He further highlighted the government’s efforts to create more job opportunities by focusing on skill development and technical training.

Regarding the Rekodiq project, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti reaffirmed that the first right to its resources belongs to the people of Chagai.

He emphasized the significance of Rekodiq’s minerals, such as gold and copper, for the economic future of Balochistan and Pakistan. “The development of Chagai will pave the way for the prosperity of the entire province,” he said.

The chief minister also announced key initiatives for Chagai, including a PKR 150 million grant for the district council and an increase in the medicine budget for the civil hospital to PKR 20 million.

Additionally, he assured that a Danish Public School would soon be established to provide quality education in the region.

Highlighting the importance of legal trade in border areas, CM Bugti urged the youth to shift from smuggling to lawful commerce, ensuring sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
