RAWALPINDI: On the night of 27/28 January 2025, terrorists attempted to attack a security forces post in the general area of Gulistan, Qila Abdullah District, Balochistan.
The attempt to breach the post was successfully thwarted by security forces, forcing the terrorists to detonate an explosive-laden vehicle against the perimeter wall.
In the ensuing exchange of fire, all five terrorists, including two suicide bombers, were eliminated.
Tragically, two brave soldiers, Naik Tahir Khan (39 years old, resident of Tank District) and Lance Naik Tahir Iqbal (26 years old, resident of Karak District), embraced martyrdom after fighting gallantly.
A sanitization operation is underway in the area to apprehend the facilitators of this heinous attack. The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism, with such sacrifices further strengthening their determination.
