HUB/QALAT: Armed assailants opened fire at a jeweler’s shop in Balochistan’s Hub city, killing three people, police said. The attackers managed to escape the scene, and security in the area was tightened. The deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

In a separate incident in Qalat, unidentified gunmen shot and killed a man named Abdullah. Police sources indicated that the murder was linked to an old enmity. Following the incident, the victim’s family staged a protest, placing the body on the national highway and blocking the road. They vowed to continue their sit-in until justice is served.
