Quetta, March 7, 2025 – An important meeting was held at the BUITEMS Video Conferencing Hall under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez to discuss the preparation and submission of data for the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking 2025.

Focus on Ranking Criteria and Data Submission

During the meeting, Director of Quality Enhancement & Accreditation (QE&A), Professor Dr. Bilal Sarwar, provided a detailed briefing to the forum, which included deans, the Director of ORIC, the Director of Academics, and the Controller of Examinations. He highlighted the key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements necessary for BUITEMS’ inclusion in the global rankings.

VC Stresses Accuracy & Timely Data Submission

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Hafeez emphasized the importance of accurate and timely data submission, stating that BUITEMS’ global academic reputation depends on consistent participation in international ranking frameworks. He directed all relevant departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment with THE’s standards to further strengthen BUITEMS’ position in the global academic landscape.

Strategic Planning for Global Recognition

The forum discussed university performance, research achievements, and institutional growth, devising strategies to enhance BUITEMS’ standing in international rankings. The meeting concluded with directives for improved coordination between departments and a streamlined data submission process to ensure BUITEMS’ continued excellence on the global stage.
