Staff Reporter:

Quetta: A shocking case of financial mismanagement has emerged in Balochistan, where Rs 1.6 billion has been spent on administrative costs while Rs 300 million in Zakat funds meant for the needy remain undistributed for the past two years.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti exposed the inefficiencies within the Zakat Department, revealing that despite owning 80 official vehicles, the department has failed to deliver financial aid to deserving recipients. Expressing his frustration, CM Bugti ordered an immediate inquiry and vowed to hold those responsible accountable.

This scandal reflects severe governance failures in Balochistan, where funds intended for the underprivileged are being mismanaged instead of reaching those in need.
