From Our Correspondent:

PISHIN: A shocking video of a woman being beaten by two men, allegedly the brothers of Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Syed Zafar Agha, has gone viral, drawing widespread condemnation. However, Agha has vehemently contradicted the news and termed it a propaganda against him.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Karbala area of Pishin District during the distribution of relief goods. It remains unclear whether the aid was provided by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) or from the lawmaker’s personal resources.

In the viral footage, the woman can be heard crying as she is subjected to violence, while barefooted children stand nearby, witnessing the distressing scene. Although the attackers’ faces are not clearly visible, local sources claim they are the brothers of MPA Syed Zafar Agha, a member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F).

The video has sparked outrage on social media, with human rights activists demanding immediate legal action. Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the matter.

The incident has once again highlighted concerns over violence against women and the abuse of power by influential individuals.
