Quetta, March 13: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has asserted that terrorists attempting to disrupt peace and security in Balochistan cannot hold even an inch of land for more than three to four hours, as security forces swiftly respond to neutralize threats.

Balochistan’s Leadership Condemns Attacks on Civilians

CM Bugti strongly condemned attacks on unarmed passengers, women, children, and laborers, stating that such acts are against Baloch traditions. He emphasized that linking terrorism to Baloch identity is false, as the Baloch people have always upheld their values of hospitality, culture, and respect for human life.

Swift Security Response Against Terrorist Threats

During a high-level meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Balochistan’s parliamentarians, CM Bugti highlighted the professionalism of Pakistan’s security forces in countering terrorist threats. He noted that terrorist propaganda, including fear-inducing videos, is being effectively countered by government and security agencies.

Good Governance and Development in Balochistan

CM Bugti reaffirmed the government’s commitment to good governance, security measures, and development initiatives in Balochistan. He emphasized that peace and economic growth must go hand in hand, ensuring long-term stability in the province.

The meeting was attended by federal and provincial ministers, National and Provincial Assembly members, and Senators.
