Railway officials visiting the damaged track after the Jaffar Express attack.

Staff Reporter:

Quetta, March 18 – The repair work on the railway track in Mashkaf, Kachhi district, has been completed, making it operational for train services once again. According to railway officials, the damaged track has been fully restored, allowing for the resumption of train operations.

Following the repairs, train services from Quetta to other parts of the country are set to resume tomorrow. The track had been non-functional since March 11, when a terrorist attack targeted the Jaffar Express in Mashkaf, leading to the suspension of train operations.

Railway authorities have assured that the restored track has been thoroughly inspected for safety, and all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure smooth travel for passengers. The resumption of train services is expected to ease transportation challenges and restore connectivity between Quetta and the rest of the country.

The railway track was damaged in a terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express a few days ago. The attack resulted in passengers being taken hostage, who were later rescued by the forces.
