Quetta, March 20, 2025 – A severe traffic jam paralyzed Quetta on Wednesday as President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in the city. Major roads were blocked for hours, leaving commuters, including fasting individuals, struggling in the scorching heat.

Thousands of vehicles were stuck on major routes, including Jinnah Road and Zarghoon Road, as security measures halted traffic. Citizens voiced their frustration, calling for better traffic management during VVIP movements.

Muhammad Adeel, a student, said, “I was stuck for two hours and missed my class. Authorities should plan better.” Shopkeeper Abdul Karim added, “We couldn’t open our shop on time, and customers faced difficulties.” Meanwhile, Saira Bibi, a mother traveling with her children, lamented, “My kids were crying in the car. The situation was unbearable.”

Commuters urged officials to ensure smoother traffic flow during high-profile visits to avoid such disruptions in the future.
