QUETTA: Internet services in Quetta were abruptly suspended on Thursday, leaving thousands of users struggling without online access.

The disruption affected students, freelancers, businesses, and professionals who rely on the internet for work and education.

The Balochistan government has not provided any reason for the suspension, nor has it announced when services will be restored.

A university student in Quetta expressed frustration over the internet shutdown, saying it disrupted online classes and assignment submissions.

Likewise, a professional who works remotely stated that the sudden suspension caused him financial losses, as his job depends on stable internet access.

The Quetta internet disruption also impacted digital payments, online businesses, and communication, causing widespread inconvenience. However, no official statement has been issued regarding the reason behind the outage.

Citizens are demanding answers and restoration of services, but authorities have remained silent on the issue.
