Quetta, March 24 – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has ordered a strict crackdown on government employees involved in anti-state activities, warning that those violating state policies will face immediate action.
Chairing a high-level meeting of administrative officials, CM Bugti emphasized that no officer is above the government’s policies and directed all divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to identify and act against employees engaged in subversive activities or propaganda against the state.
“Any government employee involved in anti-state activities will be dealt with strictly. Officers must ensure state authority in their areas,” CM Bugti warned.
National Anthem and Flag Hoisting Made Mandatory in Educational Institutions
CM Bugti issued strict orders for all educational institutions in Balochistan to sing the national anthem daily and hoist the Pakistani flag.
“Heads of institutions failing to comply should step down,” he warned.
Zero Tolerance for Corruption and Extortion
The Balochistan government is also cracking down on corruption at security checkpoints. CM Bugti announced immediate action against police and Levies officials involved in extortion, warning that any officer found guilty would be removed from their position.
“There will be no extortion at any security checkpoint. Any confirmed complaint will result in the immediate dismissal of the responsible officer,” he declared.
Baloch Youth Must Not Be Misled, Says CM Bugti
Emphasizing the importance of youth empowerment, CM Bugti stated that Baloch youth are being misled into a futile conflict. He urged officials to promote merit-based opportunities and ensure that young people engage in constructive activities.
“We must rebuild trust in the state by ensuring merit and opportunities for our youth,” CM Bugti said.
The newly approved youth policy will focus on guiding Balochistan’s youth towards education, employment, and nation-building.
CM Bugti: No Roadblocks, No Compromise on Law and Order
Addressing law enforcement officers, CM Bugti reaffirmed that maintaining law and order is the government’s top priority.
“No roads in Balochistan will be blocked. Officers must ensure that the state’s authority is upheld,” he stated.
He further instructed district officers to actively promote government policies in public gatherings and maintain strict vigilance against anti-state elements.
State Policies Must Be Followed, Or Officials Should Resign
CM Bugti warned all government officials that implementing state policies is a constitutional duty.
“No officer can operate above the government’s policies. Those who cannot comply should resign voluntarily,” he asserted.
