Islamabad: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially released the updated syllabus for the 2025 session for medical and dental college admissions. While most of the content remains unchanged from the 2024 syllabus, some important modifications have been introduced.

Key Changes in PMDC 2025 Syllabus:

1️⃣ Syllabus Design Update: The color scheme of the syllabus has been modified.

2️⃣ Terminology Revision: Some terms and phrases have been updated for better clarity.

3️⃣ Biology Syllabus Changes: The Digestion chapter has been removed from the syllabus.

4️⃣ Addition in Form and Function Chapter: A new topic, Plant Hormones, has been included.

5️⃣ Respiration Chapter Update: The topic Effects of Smoking has been added.

Why This Update Matters?

These syllabus modifications are crucial for MDCAT 2025 aspirants, as they directly impact medical entrance exam preparation. The exclusion of the Digestion chapter and the inclusion of Plant Hormones and Effects of Smoking mean that students must adjust their study strategies accordingly.
