Quetta: The Balochistan government has imposed a ban on tourist visits to several popular destinations in the province, including Hanna Lake, Shaban Valley, and Hazarganji National Park, due to security concerns.

A formal notification in this regard has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner Quetta, restricting public access to these areas until further notice.

Security Measures Tightened at Tourist Sites

Similar notifications have been issued by the Deputy Commissioners of Bolan and other sensitive districts, restricting tourist visits to major attractions. Authorities have advised travelers to avoid non-essential movement in these areas and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.

Why the Ban Was Imposed?

The decision comes in response to rising security threats in Balochistan. Officials have stated that the move is a preventive measure to ensure public safety. Additional security personnel have been deployed at these locations to prevent any untoward incidents.
