DUKI – Security forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed five terrorists during an intelligence-based joint operation in the Dubar mountain area of Duki district on Friday.
According to CTD officials, the operation was carried out based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the mountainous region. Following the successful operation, the bodies of the slain terrorists were shifted to Civil Hospital Duki for medico-legal procedures.
Later, the bodies were transported via ambulances to Civil Hospital Quetta for further identification and investigation.
Security in the area has been tightened, and a search operation is underway to eliminate any remaining threats.
This operation marks a significant achievement in the ongoing fight against terrorism in Balochistan.
