According to CTD officials, large quantities of explosives, detonators, and secret maps were recovered during a raid in Toba Tek Singh. In Bahawalpur, a RAW facilitator allegedly receiving funding from Dubai was taken into custody. Two suspects from Bahawalnagar were also arrested; investigations revealed that they had directly received IEDs from India’s Border Security Force (BSF).
Further probe uncovered plans for potential terror attacks targeting a mosque and a railway station in Bahawalpur. CTD also intercepted audio communications of Indian officers—Major Ravindra Rathore and Inspector Singh—who were reportedly issuing direct instructions for target killings and attacks on sensitive locations in Pakistan.
From the suspects’ possession, IEDs, safety fuses, and classified documents were also seized. The CTD spokesperson affirmed that any conspiracy against Pakistan’s national security will be thwarted at all costs, and that operations against hostile elements will be intensified.
