A farewell luncheon was held in Karachi on July 14, 2025, in honour of Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, the outgoing Consul General of Germany. The event brought together diplomats, business leaders, civil society members, and other distinguished guests to acknowledge Dr. Lotz’s dedicated service in Pakistan.

Speaking at the gathering, Mir Murad Baloch, Honorary Consul of Germany for Balochistan, praised Dr. Lotz’s diplomatic leadership and his efforts to strengthen ties between Germany and Pakistan.

“Dr. Lotz has been more than just a skilled diplomat — he has been a supportive and thoughtful colleague. His tenure in Karachi has deepened Germany–Pakistan relations and opened new avenues for mutual cooperation,” said Mir Murad.
