File Photo: Four injured in Mastung hand grenade attack

 

QUETTA – Three people, including a police officer, were injured in separate grenade attacks in Mastung, Turbat, and Sibi on Tuesday, police said.

In Mastung, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade near the Deputy Commissioner’s Complex before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in this incident.

In Turbat’s Absar area, attackers targeted the Balochi Bazaar locality with a hand grenade, injuring two local women. Both victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

In Sibi, assailants threw a grenade at police personnel conducting snap-checking near the Girls College, injuring Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal. The injured officer was moved to hospital, and police have launched a search operation to trace the perpetrators.
