Lasbela, Balochistan – August 22, 2025: At least nine people were killed and two others sustained serious injuries in a tragic road accident on the N-25 Highway near Abu Hotel, Uthal early Friday morning.

According to MERC 1122 (Medical Emergency Response Center), the accident occurred around 6:00 AM when two pickup vehicles and a passenger coach collided due to over-speeding.

Following an emergency call received at the Central Command and Control MERC 1122, medical response teams immediately rushed to the site. The rescue officials confirmed that nine passengers died on the spot, while the injured were given first aid and shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Uthal via MERC 1122 ambulances.

Authorities have urged motorists to exercise caution while traveling on the N-25 (National Highway), which has witnessed several fatal accidents in recent months.

For any emergency, citizens are advised to call MERC 1122 for immediate assistance.
