Gwadar: FIA Foils Human Smuggling Bid, 24 Arrested While Trying to Reach Iran

Gwadar – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle Gwadar has thwarted a major human smuggling attempt and arrested 24 individuals who were trying to illegally cross into Iran via the sea route near Jiwani.

According to FIA officials, the detained individuals include 11 from Gujranwala, 7 from Hafizabad, and 6 from Sheikhupura. Initial investigations revealed that the suspects intended to travel onward to other countries after entering Iran illegally.

Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigations are underway.

An FIA spokesperson reaffirmed that strict action against human smuggling networks will continue.
