PMDC Meeting Expected on February 11 to Discuss MDCAT 2025: Computer-Based Exam, New Format & Standardized Syllabus

– The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has issued two major updates regarding the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025.

MDCAT 2025 Registration Reopened

PMDC has reopened the MDCAT 2025 registration portal, allowing students to apply until 16 September 2025 (11:59 PM). Applicants who have already registered can also log in to review, edit, or correct their details. The Council has cautioned that any incomplete applications may be canceled.

New MDCAT 2025 Exam Date Announced

In a separate notification, PMDC confirmed that the MDCAT exam has been rescheduled. The test will now be conducted on 26 October 2025 (Sunday) instead of 5 October 2025, due to widespread floods and heavy rainfall in different regions of the country.

Important Points for Students:

  • Registration deadline: 16 September 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Revised exam date: 26 October 2025 (Sunday)
  • Reason for postponement: Torrential rains and floods across Pakistan
  • Opportunity for candidates: Edit or correct information on the portal

PMDC has advised all MDCAT 2025 aspirants to complete their registration process before the deadline and keep checking official announcements for further updates.
