Staff Reporter:

QUETTA: Tensions flared in Quetta as local bus owners and the Green Bus service staff came face to face on Zarghoon Road. According to reports, local bus drivers allegedly misbehaved with Green Bus staff, removed the keys from the bus, and issued threats. Some drivers reportedly threatened to damage the Green Bus and harm its staff, while passengers were also intimidated during the incident. Police, traffic police, and district administration rushed to the spot and took action by impounding one local bus.

However, local bus owners rejected the allegations, denying any attack on the Green Bus stop. They termed the accusations a conspiracy against them. Representatives of the Local Bus Owners Association said the government was trying to snatch away their daily bread and deprive them of their livelihood.
