Quetta (Web Desk) – Unknown gunmen attacked a construction company in Barkhan district of Balochistan, setting heavy machinery and a generator on fire in a late-night incident.

According to local sources, the attack took place in the Baghao Pargara area, where armed men opened fire on several pieces of road construction equipment before torching the machinery and generator.

While the incident caused significant financial losses, no casualties were reported. Law enforcement officials said the assailants fled the scene after the attack.

Following the incident, Levies forces launched an investigation, cordoning off the area and collecting evidence to identify those behind the assault.

The attack has raised concerns about the security of ongoing road construction and development projects in Balochistan, where contractors often face threats from militant groups and criminal elements.
