News Desk: A large tribal jirga was convened at the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Loralai, bringing together senior provincial leadership, top military officials and a significant number of tribal elders to deliberate on regional stability, community cooperation and development needs.

Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail attended the gathering as the chief guest, accompanied by Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, the Corps Commander Balochistan Rahat Naseem , former governor Gul Mohammad Jogezai, IG FC Balochistan North Atif Mustafa, the Inspector General of Police and the Commissioner of Loralai Division. The presence of these high-level figures signaled the importance of the discussions held.

Throughout the jirga, participants exchanged views on the overall security environment, the strengthening of tribal bonds, local development priorities, and the collective role of communities in fostering long-term peace. Tribal elders paid tribute to the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Balochistan North for their dedicated efforts in restoring order and safeguarding the region.

Speaking to the elders, Governor Mandokhail said that tribal communities have always remained reliable partners of state institutions. He underscored that joint planning is essential to maintain peace, ensure the success of development projects and secure a better future for the youth of Balochistan.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, in his address, reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army and FC will continue to utilise all their capabilities to strengthen peace, improve social stability and expand essential services in the area. He highlighted the significant role tribal leaders play in supporting and sustaining regional harmony.

The Commander Quetta Corps noted that the progress and prosperity of Balochistan are closely tied to peace and unity. He stressed that citizens must stay resolute against terrorist agendas and work collectively to neutralise any threats posed by anti-state groups.

At the conclusion of the jirga, tribal elders welcomed the steps taken by the Government of Balochistan, the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps, particularly the security measures implemented for the Duki coal mines and the N-70 highway. They reiterated their commitment to continue standing alongside state institutions in promoting peace, social cohesion and sustainable development across the region.
