Quetta: Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Balochistan, has rejected all rumors regarding a change in the Chief Minister of Balochistan, calling them entirely baseless. He emphasized that Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has the full confidence and support of all coalition partners.

Mir Sadiq Umrani added that if Senator Dostain Khan Domki has any concerns, he should raise them before the senior leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). He stressed that Mir Sarfraz Bugti continues to lead the province with the backing of all allied parties.

He also reminded that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it clear that changing provincial chief ministers is not appropriate for ensuring democratic continuity. Additionally, Mir Sadiq Umrani noted that PPP member Liaquat Lahri has repeatedly violated party policies, and the matter will be presented to the party leadership for a final decision.

This statement comes amid ongoing political speculation in Balochistan, reinforcing the PPP’s firm support for Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and clarifying the government’s current position.
