Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has praised the timely and courageous response of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police during the armed attacks on banks and properties in Panjgur, saying their swift action helped protect public lives and property.

In a statement, the chief minister paid rich tribute to CTD constable Dura Khan, who embraced martyrdom during the operation. He said the courage, sense of duty, and supreme sacrifice of Shaheed Dura Khan reflect the highest traditions of the security forces and will always be remembered. He added that the nation is indebted to such brave martyrs whose sacrifices ensure peace and stability.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti also expressed deep condolences to the family of the civilian who lost his life in the incident and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and patience for the bereaved families.

Reiterating the government’s firm stance, the chief minister said there is no room for terrorists and criminal elements in Balochistan. He stressed that the state will continue decisive action against anti-national forces and that the sacrifices of security personnel for the establishment of law and order will never go in vain. He assured that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the top priority of the provincial government.
