From Our Correspondent:

MACH, BOLAN: A powerful explosion on the railway track near Machh–Sibi section late last night damaged more than three feet of the railway line, disrupting train operations in the area.

According to railway sources, explosive material planted on the track between Machh and Sibi detonated with a loud blast, causing significant damage to the track. Railway teams reached the site immediately after receiving information and carried out repair work to restore the damaged section.

Meanwhile, another explosion occurred between Quetta and Kolpur, where explosive material detonated on the railway track. However, the track remained safe and no damage was reported in that section.

Due to the non-clearance from security forces, railway authorities cancelled the Jaffar Express (Quetta–Peshawar) and Bolan Mail (Quetta–Karachi) on Friday.

Keeping public convenience in view, railway officials announced that a special Jaffar Express will depart from Quetta at 8:00 am on Saturday, while another Jaffar Express will leave according to its scheduled time.

Security agencies are continuing investigations into the incidents.
