News Desk: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday said that security forces have eliminated more than 700 terrorists across the province during the past 12 months as part of sustained counterterrorism operations.

Speaking about the recent security situation, the chief minister said that nearly 70 terrorists were killed during operations carried out over the last two days alone. He added that terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan attempted to launch attacks in multiple areas early Friday morning.

Bugti said that coordinated and timely action by the Balochistan Police and the Frontier Corps successfully foiled all attempted attacks, preventing potential loss of life and damage to public property.

According to the chief minister, at least 37 more terrorists have been killed so far during the ongoing operations. He praised the bravery and professionalism of the security forces, stating that their swift response played a key role in maintaining law and order across the province.

“These cowardly attacks cannot weaken our resolve against terrorism,” Bugti said, reaffirming the government’s commitment to restoring lasting peace in Balochistan.

He further stated that the state would not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated, adding that security operations will continue until all militant networks are dismantled.

The chief minister emphasized that the provincial government remains fully determined to support security forces in their efforts to protect the people of Balochistan and ensure long-term stability in the region.
