Quetta: The final merit list for MBBS and BDS admissions at Bolan Medical College (BMC), Quetta is expected to be uploaded soon, bringing relief to many students waiting for confirmation of their admission status.
A few weeks earlier, the college had already uploaded the tentative merit list for the academic session 2025–26, which included district-wise candidate details from across Balochistan to allow applicants to review their preliminary standing in the selection process.
Delay Due to Pending District Data
According to an administrative officer involved in the admission process, the release of the final merit list has been slightly delayed because a few Deputy Commissioners have not yet submitted the complete student data after conducting interviews in their respective districts.
The officer said that the delay is mainly linked to the ongoing law and order situation in some areas of the province, which has slowed down the submission of verified records from certain districts.
Final Verification in Progress
The interviews conducted in home districts and the verification of candidate data are part of the final review process before confirming MBBS and BDS seat allocations in government medical colleges of Balochistan.
Officials stated that once the remaining district data is received and reviewed, the BMC final merit list will be uploaded on the official website, confirming the admission of selected candidates.
Advice for Candidates
Students who applied for admission are advised to regularly check the official website of Bolan Medical College for updates regarding the final merit list announcement.
After the list is published, selected candidates will be required to complete document verification and admission formalities within the given deadline to secure their seats in MBBS or BDS programs.
