Blast injured a child on Sirki road Quetta

A cracker blast injured a child in Quetta’s Sirki road. Police sources said unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a footpath. As a result of the attack, a child got injured.

Rescue workers rushed the injured child to civil hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Police were quick at the scene after the blast. They cordoned off the area as an investigation into the incident went underway.

Security tightened in and outside the city after the blast. Police and other law enforcement agencies increased the patrolling and vigilance at all exit and entry points of the provincial capital.
